Hollywood Diamonds-Colour Pencils drawing

                            Tools:

Prismacolour Verithin on  dress and diamonds, but Polycolour 24 colour pencils
on the skin and the money.

Polycolour 24 Set  for drawing, illustration and colouring-
I like these, they are very easy to work with, they are soft and round but you can
also sharpen them quite pointy. These are  for making Portraits, so you will
have to get a different pencil set for other things, but for just making skin tones
they are great!

I give Polycolour Portrait Pencils

Cool illustration?;) I made them in Photoshop CC.Own brushes.

The only reason I don't give them five is that I thought the brown colours looked a bit
smudgy on paper, but then again it depends on the quality of the paper you have,
The light pencils was very easy to work with.

But I really like these pencils, they were a bit cheaper than Prismacolour Pencils
when I baugth them at Engebretsen & Søn in Pilestredet, Oslo.
great art store, by the way!

You should always try out your colour pencils on
different kinds of paper to see what effect they will give-it is a big difference betweeen
smooth and rough paper.Example:
Koh-I-Noor Popdraw drawing pad paper its exellent, smooth paper in my book.
It weighs 180 gsm (it's very important to have heavy paper when you're working with colour
pencils) and it is smooooth!:)
Canson 180 grams paper is OK, but it's not so smooth as Popdraw paper.
Of course, the best paper is Strathmore Paper for colour pencils, but I also really like
The Langton Extra Smooth Aquarelle Paper 140 lb from Daler Rowney,

I also think you need to think about what you need when you buy paper.Good colour pencil paper
is essential for every artist that wants to become good on colour pencils, but a good advice will
be to read a little about what other artists have experienced before you buy lots of paper.
When I first began, I read from an experienced artist that you should always buy lots of different paper to find out what suits your style, but sometimes you just know before what suits you
and what doesn't.

The brand for these are Koh-I Noor.

Alright, have a great week and try to get some rest between your Christmas shopping;)
