Petite woman can also wear jump suits-be sure to wear something
that is a bit loose around the waist and that stops above the knees.
A petite woman who also has a bit of broad shoulders and short
neck, will also look good with v-necks or boat-neck on your
blouse. A good tip is to use a loose blouse with boat neck
like the one shown in the illustration over a high-waisted skirt.
TIP: If you've got a bit of a chubby tummy and you want to
hide it, it is a a good
idea to also use thick dress fabric, and remember
bright colours enlarges, dark colour narrows.
There is nothing wrong with using patterns- you can
use a dress with a bit of patterns on them, but be aware that
patterns often draws attraction to the that part of the body,
so be sure to only use patterns on the parts of the body
you want to draw the attention to.
Example: You want to hide thick thies but you want to draw attention to
the cleavage and the neck-use a loose top that has patterns that goes over
the chest and not over your belly, and use a darker skirt or tights or jeans
under-and remember; vertical stripes makes you look slimmer, be careful
with horizontal stripes becouse that can make you seem larger than
you actually are.
Some last tips:
*Shoes with open toe is a winner for petite women.
*Using sandals with a bit of wedge makes you look a little bit taller:)
*Feel free to use necklaces, but remember to try out different
things that suits your style.
A delicate necklace can look good one one petite woman,
but may look too small on another petite who wears plus size.
*Using a dress in one colour seems prolonging for a petite body.
I'll finish this post by saying that I miss seeing fashion for petite
women who is not a size 32 or even 36 ( Size four in the US is a
norwegian size 36). The fashion world has become better, you can see
more variety in the models now, but I still miss role models that
are under 5'4 and uses a size 36, 38 or 42,
I hope this was useful, have a nice summer!:)
